Bayboro Pharmacy & Wellness Center Prescription Delivery Service

Delivery

WHERE DO WE DELIVER?

Our delivery services Pamlico County and portions of Aurora.

HOW MUCH IS DELIVERY?

  • We offer prescription delivery for a $3 fee.
  • Over the Counter and other retail items can be included with your delivery. If ordering non-prescription items only, a minimum order of $25 will apply.
  • Patients are encouraged to keep a credit card on file to pay for prescriptions (credit card must be presented once in person at the pharmacy to securely store payment information) or a secure payment link may be sent to the patient prior to delivery.

HOW TO REQUEST DELIVERY

Request delivery using our RX LOCAL Mobile App on your phone. (Text RXLOCAL to 64890 to download the App)

Request delivery while requesting refills using the RX LOCAL App (REFILLS Tab) via our website.

Call the pharmacy at 252-745-5539 (Option 0) to request delivery of your meds / OTC items.

WHEN WILL I GET MY DELIVERY?

Deliveries will be available Monday – Friday between the hours of 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM.

Because prescription delivery requires a considerable amount of coordination, deliveries must be requested 1 business day in advance of delivery.

Same day delivery is only available under limited circumstances. A $10 fee will apply (cut off time to request same day delivery is 1:00 PM).

IMPORTANT DELIVERY INFORMATION

The patient or authorized representative MUST be present at the time of delivery. A prescription delivery cannot be left without obtaining a “proof of delivery” signature.

If the patient is not home at the time of delivery, the driver must bring the prescription back to the pharmacy at the end of his/her route and will be available for the customer or authorized representative to pick up.

If you prefer to have a second delivery attempt made, you will need to call the pharmacy to arrange the delivery. A second $3 delivery fee may be assessed.

Bayboro Pharmacy & Wellness Center will NOT attempt a third delivery. If the second delivery is not completed, the prescription will remain at the pharmacy to be picked up.

NC law requires a patient or authorized representative to physically present a valid (non-expired) government issued I.D. each time a controlled drug is dispensed or delivered.

*** Note: If a prescription is delivered to a place of business, it must be hand delivered to the patient. We cannot allow a designated person other than the patient (or household member) to sign for and take delivery of prescriptions. ***
